The Smart And Easy Way To Host A Virtual Workshop

I know at times that there are some business owners that are starting off and may not have a website. So I have a suggestion for you, you can actually still have a virtual event without having an actual website. I am going to walk you through the smart and easy way I hosted a virtual workshop. You can create a full page that serves as a lead page through using Flodesk. What is Flodesk you may ask? Well I’m going to tell you. Flodesk is an amazing email marketing system that will help you to get better open rates, well maybe not necessarily better open rates but for me I have seen better open rates with my content.

Using Flodesk as a Landing Page

A full page Flodesk form can serve as a landing page for your virtual workshop. Flodesk has beautiful templates that help you get your point across depending on what purpose you have. I love Canva, so think of this as the Canva of email marketing. Previously I was using MailChimp. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t beautiful. 

I had hosted a virtual workshop with the Dallas Black Bloggers on using Instagram TV tricks and tips. It was a really great webinar and I set it up through Zoom. However, my site is on the ShowIT platform and I love it, but I wanted to test it out and try a different route. ShowIT is so easy to create a landing page but I wanted to try something different. So I decided to set up a full page email capture form using Flodesk. Then I thought, why not use the workflow capability?  I know me if you’re anything like me, you may forget to send out the zoom information plus I run Siri ragged.
